As Puerto Rico’s only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused primarily on providing care and resources to individuals 65+, we take seriously our role to create lasting changes in the lives of those we serve.
We provide comprehensive support services and programs to address social determinants of health – like access to healthcare services, financial status, food security, social interactions and more. We know that many factors influence a person’s health, and we design our programs and services around the unique health factors of Puerto Rico’s elderly and disadvantaged populations.
Fundación MMM was founded on the belief that an individual’s environment has a significant impact on their overall health and wellbeing. We continue this legacy by providing direct assistance, including appliances and home repairs, to those in need.
In collaboration with other nonprofits we’ll be working to provide elderly and disadvantaged Puerto Rico residents access to nutrient-rich food as well as other basic supplies needed to live a happy, healthy life.
Loneliness contributes to depression, and directly impacts quality of life. We’re beginning to work with like-minded community partners and nonprofit organizations to develop programs that promote social interactions and increase companionship among those we serve.
